This is a digital illustration created in spring 2024. It is a piece to record a change of my mental state. A few weeks before it was made, I was experiencing a hard time under anxiety and depression caused by social relationships as well as personal development. I feel released when I look up and see the road sign at a park pointing to the direction of landscapes like Niagara Falls and North Poles, realizing that there is no right or wrong for a choice. Making a choice is the right thing itself, just keep going and I will get somewhere. Life is as short as 30,000 days and should not be spent on regret. Technique wise, I developed the method of combining photography reference from real-life and artistic processing to make a conceptual illustration. I am happy how it has turned out and I hope you enjoy it.
